Launch Campaign

To celebrate the Medialane mainnet launch on Starknet, the Creator's Fund returns all platform revenue to the community while the campaign is active. Revenue is airdropped to creators, collectors, and active participants.

Community Program

Each time the Creator's Fund reaches its threshold, that amount is airdropped to all participants, weighted by XP earned through real activity on the platform.

Governance First

A 1% fee on earnings (sales, paid mints, and launches) funds the Creator's Fund. Each year, MDLN holders vote on Snapshot to decide how platform revenue is used: Creator's Airdrop, token buyback, token burn, protocol development, or operations. No predetermined formula.

For year one, the DAO's decision is the Creator's Airdrop: every dollar of revenue is returned to the community. The campaign runs until July 1, 2027.

The Model

When MDLN holders vote to fund the Creator's Airdrop, the allocated pool is distributed directly to creators, collectors, and active participants.

How Your Share Is Calculated

Every real interaction with Medialane earns XP, and your total XP relative to everyone else's decides your share of each distribution. Creating your account with your email puts you in immediately; it's gasless.

From there, your share grows with what you do on the platform: publishing original work, launching collections, minting (the participation NFT included), trading, making offers, collaborating, remixing, and commenting all count. Every one of these adds to the same running XP total, one shared calculation for everyone taking part.

Every participant is included; every time the Creator's Fund collects enough, it's airdropped, and this repeats as revenue comes in. Your share of each distribution is your XP relative to all participants.

Creator's Airdrop rules and pool sizes are governed by MDLN holders and may change between cycles. All qualifying activity is verified onchain. Medialane DAO does not guarantee specific airdrop amounts.
